Terence Eden marks 10 years on Mastodon
Original: 10 Years on Mastodon
British technology writer Terence Eden is celebrating ten years on Mastodon, the decentralised social network, reflecting on a decade since he joined the platform. In a blog post, he notes that many social networks launch with fanfare and fade within a couple of years, and argues Mastodon's longevity is worth marking. Friends and followers are congratulating him on the milestone.
Why now: The rare ten-year anniversary on a non-mainstream social network is prompting reflection on Mastodon's endurance.
