Chancellor Rachel Reeves has said the UK's future is in the European Union, endorsing Andy Burnham's position on Brexit. The statement marks a notable shift in tone from a senior Labour figure and is likely to reignite debate about the party's stance on Europe and closer ties with Brussels ahead of future political contests.
