Monterrey host Tijuana amid 'Mora Law' stadium fencing debate
Original: monterrey - tijuana
Rayados de Monterrey are preparing to face Club Tijuana, and attention has turned to the pitch at their stadium, which has been double-fenced for the match. The extra barriers are being linked to the so-called 'Mora Law', a measure named after Tijuana striker Christian Mora that restricts objects thrown from stands. Fans are debating whether the fencing is a safety measure or an excessive reaction ahead of the Liga MX fixture.
Why now: The unusual double fencing at the Rayados stadium for the Tijuana match has sparked debate about fan safety measures in Mexican football.
