Original: Michael Douglas Shares Update on Jack Nicholson: “He’s Well. He Has Disappeared”
Michael Douglas has offered a rare update on his old friend and co-star Jack Nicholson, saying he is doing well despite having withdrawn entirely from public view. Douglas, who starred alongside Nicholson in films including "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" producer Saul Zaentz's projects and "A Few Good Men" era Hollywood, noted Nicholson has effectively vanished from the public eye. Fans of the reclusive three-time Oscar winner, who has not appeared on screen in years, reacted with relief and curiosity about his private life.
Why now: Nicholson has been a recluse for years, so any rare update from a close peer naturally draws wide attention
