Joc Pederson among three Rangers to decline mutual options
Three Texas Rangers players, including outfielder Joc Pederson, have declined their mutual contract options for the upcoming season, making them free agents. The moves open roster flexibility for the Rangers heading into the offseason, while Pederson and the others can now negotiate with any club. Further details on the other two players and contract terms have not yet been widely reported.
Why now: Offseason free agency decisions are reshaping the Rangers roster and the player market.
