FromSoftware takes Dark Souls 2 and 3 multiplayer offline

Original: FromSoftware temporarily shuts down Dark Souls 2 and 3 multiplayer over 'server issue' The reason and timeline for resto

FromSoftware has temporarily disabled online multiplayer for Dark Souls 2 and Dark Souls 3, citing an unspecified server issue. The studio did not say what caused the outage or when the servers are expected to be back up. Players are left unable to summon cooperators or invade others, cutting off much of the series' signature online features for the time being.

Why now: The unexpected shutdown of long-running games' online services affects active players, and the lack of a restoration timeline is fueling discussion.
