Air raid alerts were issued for Kyiv and Kremenchuk after jet-powered attack drones were detected in central Ukraine. Monitors reported targets over the Telichka, Lypky and Pechersk districts of the capital, as well as in the Kremenchuk and Horishni Plavni sector of Poltava region. The alert comes amid the ongoing Russian campaign of nightly drone strikes on Ukrainian cities.
Why now: Jet-powered UAVs are faster and harder to intercept than the Shahed-type drones commonly used, raising alarm among Ukrainians.
