New app maps surveillance cameras for Berlin walkers
Original: Schattenweg ✨🥾☂️🥷🏽 For everyone with an # Android phone in # Berlin , download # Schattenweg to avoid (AI) # surveillanc
Schattenweg, a free Android app for Berlin, lets users plan walking routes that avoid surveillance cameras, including AI-powered ones. Routes can be filtered by camera type and other map layers, and live AI cameras around Kottbusser Tor have already been mapped. The app works fully offline and is being promoted as a privacy tool for pedestrians.
Why now: Growing concern over AI surveillance cameras in Berlin public spaces is driving interest in tools to avoid them.
