Forensic Student Who Copied Dexter to Kill Faces Justice
Original: Entitled Forensic Student Copies Dexter for Murder, Makes a HUGE Mistake
A forensic science student is reported to have modelled a murder on the fictional killer Dexter, using their studies to try to cover up the crime. The attempt failed due to a critical error, and the case is drawing attention for the disturbing way fiction and forensic training were combined in a real killing.
Why now: The striking combination of forensic expertise, a famous fictional killer and a fatal mistake in the cover-up makes the case compelling true-crime material.
