A person living in a tent is marking 'Coffee Friday' by asking friends online to donate the price of a coffee, roughly $3-5, and inviting them to join a shared virtual table. The post thanks supporters for remembering the weekly ritual, saying their reminders mean the world. Small-dollar community fundraising like this has been drawing sympathetic attention.
