Version 0.7.6 of ual, a stack-based, coordination-first programming language with one interpreter and compilers targeting Go and Rust, is now available. The release adds an experimental C backend for the Z80 processor — used in the ZX Spectrum and CP/M systems — via the SDCC compiler. It covers a subset of the language so far, with 13 of 92 examples matching the interpreter's output.

Why now: The new experimental Z80 backend lets retro-computing and systems programmers target ZX Spectrum and CP/M hardware from a modern language.
