Trump and Obama clash on eve of US midterm elections

Original: trump eleições eua

Campaigning is intensifying ahead of the United States midterm elections. Donald Trump called Democratic candidates 'extremists' at a pre-election rally, while Barack Obama attacked Trump as he campaigned for Democrats. Trump also cancelled weekend rallies and plans to join other campaign events by phone instead of appearing in person. The back-and-forth between the two former presidents is drawing attention as both parties make final appeals to voters before the vote.

Why now: The US midterm elections are imminent and the two most prominent political figures are actively campaigning against each other.
