Astroterm Brings a Planetarium to Your Terminal
Original: Astroterm: A Planetarium for Your Terminal
A developer has released Astroterm, an open-source tool that turns the command line into a planetarium, letting users view stars and constellations directly in their terminal. The project is drawing attention among programmers and space enthusiasts who enjoy seeing astronomy software rendered entirely in text, and the code is available on GitHub for anyone to try.
Why now: The novelty of a polished stargazing tool running purely in a terminal is appealing to developer communities.
