Fans mourn the silencing of Patrick Stewart's voice

Original: The ship that travels. The chair, center chair. The chair of wheels, suddenly still. The voice gone. The voice in hearts

Tribute posts are mourning Patrick Stewart, evoking his captain's chair on Star Trek's Enterprise and Professor Xavier's wheelchair left suddenly empty, with the stage bare but hearts heavy. Admirers describe his voice as gone from the stage and screen yet still travelling in the hearts of fans of Shakespeare, Star Trek and the X-Men films.
