Antonelli to miss Mexico City GP media day with viral illness

Original: Mexico City Grand Prix: Kimi Antonelli to miss media day with viral illness

Mercedes rookie Kimi Antonelli will sit out media day ahead of the Mexico City Grand Prix after falling ill with a viral illness. The 18-year-old Italian is expected to still take part in the race weekend, though his availability for Thursday's press commitments has been cut short as he recovers.

Why now: Antonelli is one of Formula 1's most closely watched rookies, so any disruption to his race weekend draws attention.
