Original: # SalvadorDalí museum to open in # Montreal in 2027 Founded by # historian # FélixBélanger and directed by # LorrainePin

A museum dedicated to Salvador Dalí is set to open in Montreal in 2027. Founded by historian Félix Bélanger and directed by Lorraine Pintal, the institution will focus on lesser-known sides of Dalí's output, including printmaking, illustration, fashion, theatre and design. Pintal spoke with reporters about the project, which is drawing attention for broadening the view of the Spanish surrealist beyond his famous paintings.

Why now: News of a new Dalí museum in Montreal is fresh and highlights rarely showcased aspects of the artist's work.
