Original: Beyond Atlassian: A European open source alternative to Confluence and Jira Join OpenProject and @ xwiki for a free webi
OpenProject and XWiki are hosting a free webinar promoting their open source software as a European alternative to Atlassian's Confluence and Jira. OpenProject CTO and co-founder Wieland Lindenthal and XWiki's Ștefana Nazare will demonstrate migration tools for teams moving off Jira and Confluence. The push comes amid growing European interest in reducing dependence on US software vendors.
Why now: European organisations are actively looking for open source alternatives to Atlassian products amid concerns over vendor dependence.
