Cyclone Montha (locally reported as Arnab) has caused widespread destruction along the Andhra Pradesh and Odisha coasts, killing at least five people in Andhra Pradesh. Residents describe losing nearly everything as coastal areas were battered by wind and rain. The Indian Air Force has been deployed to assist those affected, with NDRF handing out 23 tonnes of relief supplies in Vijayawada as rescue and relief operations continue.
