Russian Battery Factory Destroyed by Seven Storm Shadow Missiles
Original: Russian Battery Factory Destroyed by 7 Storm Shadow Cruise Missiles
Reports say a Russian battery factory was destroyed in a strike involving seven Storm Shadow cruise missiles. Storm Shadows are the long-range missiles supplied to Ukraine by Britain and France, and strikes on Russian industrial targets have been a regular feature of the war. The attack is drawing attention because of the scale of the strike and the choice of an energy-related facility deep in contested territory.
Why now: The large-scale use of long-range Western missiles against a Russian industrial target fits the current intensification of strikes in the war.
