Dirk Kuyt takes temporary charge at Fenerbahce
Original: dirk kuyt
Fenerbahce have turned to Dirk Kuyt to take over on an interim basis following the departure of their head coach. The former Liverpool and Netherlands forward now steps into a leading role at the Turkish club just as Liverpool, with Virgil van Dijk, travel to face Fenerbahce in the Champions League, putting extra spotlight on Kuyt's return to the touchline.
Why now: Kuyt's surprise appointment as interim coach coincides with Liverpool's Champions League visit to Fenerbahce.
