Iran's IRGC urges US voters to change Trump administration
Original: Trump administration ‘must be changed’: Iran’s IRGC appeals to US voters
Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps has issued a public appeal to American voters, saying the Trump administration "must be changed". The statement, reported by Al Jazeera, marks an unusually direct intervention by Iran's most powerful military force in US electoral politics, and is likely to deepen already severe tensions between Tehran and Washington amid ongoing disputes over sanctions, nuclear talks and regional conflict.
Why now: US election coverage is drawing statements from Iran's leadership, and the IRGC's direct appeal to American voters is a striking escalation of rhetoric between the two adversaries.
