V&A Workers Call Off Strike
Workers at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London have called off their planned strike. The industrial action had been expected to disrupt one of the world's leading museums of art and design. The reasons behind the decision to cancel the stoppage have not been detailed, and it is not yet known whether an agreement was reached with management over pay or working conditions.
Why now: The last-minute cancellation of strike action at a major cultural institution is newsworthy to museum visitors and staff.
