Former UK Foreign Secretary Deflects Questions on Palestine Proscription
Original: « … the former home secretary and foreign secretary deflected questions about the proscription… » 🔗 · https://www. yo
A former British home secretary and foreign secretary has deflected questions about the proscription of Palestine Action, refusing to give a direct answer in an interview. Critics online, sharing the clip under ceasefire and pro-Palestine hashtags, are calling the evasiveness telling, arguing the government's proscription of the activist group is being avoided rather than defended publicly.
Why now: Debate is ongoing in the UK over the government's proscription of Palestine Action and its handling of Gaza ceasefire questions.
