Claim Circulates That Activision Sells Cheats for Its Own Call of Duty Games
Original: What if I told you Activision also sells cheats to their own game ... 🤔 # fps # gaming # activision # callofduty # black
A claim is spreading online accusing Activision of selling cheats for its own Call of Duty titles, specifically Black Ops. The accusation, shared as a rhetorical question among gamers, plays on long-standing frustration with cheating in the shooter series. There is no evidence provided to support the claim, and Activision has historically operated anti-cheat systems like Ricochet to combat cheaters.
Why now: Cheating in Call of Duty is a persistent sore point for players, so inflammatory claims about the publisher profit from it draw attention.
