Original: Ocean Power Technologies signs letter of intent for offshore AI data center demonstration
Ocean Power Technologies has signed a letter of intent to demonstrate an AI data center sited offshore. The proposed demonstration would pair data center operations with the company's ocean-based power technology, tapping offshore renewable energy to meet rising AI computing demands. The agreement is a non-binding first step toward a working offshore facility.
