AI agents designed to say prayers spark debate
Original: AI prayer agents
Discussion is growing around the use of AI agents to perform or generate prayers, a development blending artificial intelligence with religious practice. Commenters appear divided, with some seeing it as a natural extension of technology into spiritual life and others questioning whether machine-generated prayer holds any meaning for believers.
Why now: The novelty of delegating a deeply personal religious act to AI is prompting debate about faith, authenticity and technology.
