Photo challenge 'elevator' leads photographers to Essen's industrial heritage

Photography communities under the FotoVorschlag hashtag are sharing images for this round's theme 'Aufzug' (elevator). One contributor posted a morning shot near the former Zeche Heinrich colliery in Essen-Kupferdreh, with the mine's winding tower in the background. The theme invites creative takes, and the Essen picture highlights how Ruhr-area industrial architecture fits the elevator prompt.

Why now: The weekly photo challenge theme has been announced and photographers are posting their takes.
