Artist revisits old painted wooden boards in new work

An artist shared a new piecemeal-style artwork built from earlier attempts. They had painted a couple of wooden boards a few years ago but were unhappy with the results, so they photographed the pieces, painted over the boards, and later returned to the photos to rework them digitally into a new composition.

Why now: The story of turning discarded work into something new resonates with fellow artists and hobbyists.
