Andy Burnham parody turns Celebrity Gogglebox into sketch comedy
Original: Andy Burnham's Night In With Celebrity Gogglebox | SNL UK
Saturday Night Live UK has released a sketch imagining Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham settling in for a night watching Celebrity Gogglebox, drawing strong early engagement online. Viewers are sharing the clip and discussing Burnham's comic treatment, with many weighing in on the show's satirical take on one of Labour's most talked-about figures.
Why now: A popular comedy sketch is poking fun at a high-profile politician just as interest in Andy Burnham's national ambitions remains high.
