Hasan Piker Under Fire Ahead of Minnesota Appearance
Original: hasan piker
Streamer and political commentator Hasan Piker is drawing criticism from conservatives over a planned appearance in Minnesota. The Center of the American Experiment attacked Minnesota Democrats for inviting him, citing his past remark that America deserved the 9/11 attacks and noting the state was home to Tom Burnett, a passenger who fought back on Flight 93. Piker says the quote was taken out of context, and supporters defend his commentary on US foreign policy.
Why now: Piker is trending because of controversy over his upcoming appearance and renewed criticism of his old 9/11 comment.
