Fond tributes to Walter Koenig's famous Star Trek line

Original: Me: "One more for the road." Koenig: ... "nuclear wessels". RIP 🫡🖖 https:// hexbear.net/post/9885724

Fans are sharing affectionate tributes referencing Walter Koenig and his Star Trek character Pavel Chekov, quoting the famously mispronounced line 'nuclear wessels' from Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. The posts pair the quote with salutes and the Vulcan salute emoji, in what reads as a fond farewell to the actor.

Why now: Posts mourning Koenig and celebrating his most famous line suggest fans believe the actor has died, though no confirmation is evident.
