Actor Walton Goggins has taken on the role of Ebenezer Scrooge, filling in for Michael Caine, in a new commercial that reunites the Muppets with their 'Christmas Carol' setting. He appears alongside Pepe the Prawn in the spot, which was released this week by Walmart as a holiday-themed advertisement.

Why now: The novelty of a new Muppets Christmas project and a well-known actor stepping into Michael Caine's classic Scrooge role is drawing attention during the holiday ad season.
