Original: Dan Rather Spent Much Of His Iconic Career At CBS News — Now, He Says, It's A 'Disaster' https://www. huffpost.com/entry
Veteran anchorman Dan Rather, who spent decades at CBS News, has publicly called the network a 'disaster'. His comments come amid criticism of Bari Weiss's leadership and concern over media companies aligning with Donald Trump. Calls to boycott CBS and its parent company Paramount, and criticism of Oracle's Larry Ellison, are spreading among viewers online.
Why now: Rather's harsh words about his former network reflect widespread anger over perceived political shifts at CBS under new leadership.
