Donald Trump is said to have suggested Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban as a candidate for UN secretary-general, drawing ridicule online. Commenters note the irony that FIFA president Gianni Infantino, whom Trump has praised and once floated for the Nobel Peace Prize, was not the pick instead. Critics call the Orban suggestion unserious for the role of the world's top diplomat.
Why now: The reported suggestion of a divisive nationalist leader for the UN's top job struck people as absurd and prompted widespread commentary.
