Nintendo Switch 2 reportedly jailbroken via SmileBASIC exploit
Original: Switch 2 schon gejailbreakt: Der Exploit ns2jb läuft auf Systemversion 23.0.1 und startet über eine Schwachstelle in Smi
A jailbreak for the Nintendo Switch 2, dubbed ns2jb, is said to run on system firmware 23.0.1 and to start through a vulnerability in SmileBASIC 4. The exploit is reportedly still tethered, meaning the console must reconnect to a computer after reboot, but it could enable homemade software, mods and save-game backups. Nintendo has not commented, and the company has historically moved quickly to patch such holes.
Why now: A working jailbreak on a newly released console threatens Nintendo's locked-down ecosystem and typically spreads fast among gamers and hackers.
