Switzerland recreated block by block at 1:1 scale
Original: Switzerland. Block by block. At 1:1 scale
A project is presenting Switzerland built out of blocks at 1:1 scale, accessible through a dedicated website. The idea of rendering an entire country at full scale using block-based 3D modelling is drawing attention and discussion, with readers sharing and debating the technical effort such a reconstruction would require.
Why now: The ambition of modelling an entire country at true 1:1 scale in blocks is technically striking and sparks curiosity about how it was done.
