Red morning sky draws weather watchers' attention
Original: Red sky in the morning. #photography #weather
A striking red sky at sunrise, shared under photography and weather tags, is catching attention. The old saying 'red sky in the morning, shepherd's warning' frames such dawns as a sign that stormy weather may be approaching, as high-pressure light scatters off incoming weather systems. People are trading reactions and photos of the vivid sky.
Why now: Vivid sunrise skies prompt people to share photos and speculate about the weather warning folklore behind them.
