Discussion is resurfacing around Lisa's 2023 Crazy Horse cabaret performance in Paris, which is described as the only controversy that seriously hurt her career. The main consequence was a major loss of her Chinese fanbase, and commenters argue the damage came less from the performance itself than from her team's failure to counter a wave of misinformation circulating at the time.

Why now: Fans are debating whether Lisa's lost Chinese fandom was caused by the performance or by mishandled PR during the backlash.
