Bangladesh board removes Ashraful as batting coach before Test series
Original: Big shake-up in Bangladesh cricket: BCB removes Mohammad Ashraful as batting coach days before Test series
The Bangladesh Cricket Board has removed Mohammad Ashraful from his role as national batting coach, just days before Bangladesh's upcoming Test series. The timing of the decision has raised questions, as Ashraful, a former national captain, had been part of the team's support staff ahead of the red-ball fixtures. The board has not fully explained the reasons for the abrupt change in the coaching setup.
Why now: The sudden sacking of a former star player as batting coach immediately before a Test series is unusual and prompts speculation about internal disagreements.
