Serbian Americans vote at Chicago consulate in Serbia's election
Original: Serbian Americans head to consulate in Chicago to vote in Serbia's election
Serbian Americans are travelling to the Serbian consulate in Chicago to cast their ballots in Serbia's national election. With no polling stations near many diaspora communities, voters in the United States are heading to consulates in person to take part. The vote in Serbia will decide the composition of its parliament and could shape the country's political direction.
Why now: Serbia is holding an election, and diaspora voters abroad are participating in person at consulates.
