James Reimer Shines in Hartford Wolf Pack Debut Shutout

Original: james reimer

Goaltender James Reimer made his debut for the Hartford Wolf Pack, the New York Rangers' AHL affiliate, stopping every shot in a 2-0 blanking of the Bruins. The veteran NHL netminder's strong opening performance comes as Atlantic Division teams including the Rangers, Capitals and Hurricanes weigh their goaltending situations, putting Reimer's name back in circulation.

Why now: The veteran goalie delivered a shutout in his first game with a new AHL club amid NHL roster and trade speculation.
