Steelers fans frustrated with cornerbacks playing off coverage
Original: Steelers CBs are always so far back. Can we jam the WRs at times?! # Steelers # NFL
Pittsburgh Steelers fans are questioning the team's defensive scheme after watching cornerbacks line up far off opposing receivers. The complaint asks why the defense rarely jams wide receivers at the line of scrimmage to disrupt routes. Discussion centres on whether softer coverage is leaving Steelers defenders vulnerable to quick, easy completions.
Why now: Frustration over the Steelers' soft coverage scheme is resonating with fans following recent games.
