Mutual aid site races to raise $145 before hosting deadline

Original: 🚨 URGENT 🚨 $145 STILL NEEDED! LESS THAN 5 DAYS LEFT! My shared hosting renews on 30 October, and I'm running out of time

An online mutual aid platform, mutualaidspace.org, is urgently appealing for $145 to cover a hosting renewal and server migration due on 30 October. Organisers say the sites must be moved to a VPS and tested before the deadline, and without enough funding the platform may have to go offline.

Why now: The fundraiser has a deadline of days away and the loss of the site would affect the community it serves.

• 🚨 URGENT 🚨 $145 STILL NEEDED! LESS THAN 5 DAYS LEFT! My shared hosting renews on 30 October, and I'm running out of time to fund the VPS, migrate, and test both websites. Without sufficient funding and time to complete the migration, mutualaidspace.org may have to go offline. 🔗… · wrzky@kolektiva.social · 27
