Reddit moderators ban solo projects and LLM-generated code

Original: Ah, # Reddit , the bastion of community-driven decision-making, has decided to # ban solo projects and # LLMs in open so

A policy change on Reddit now bans posts about solo projects and LLM-generated content in an open source community, according to a post mocking the decision. Reaction is sarcastic, with commenters questioning whether community-driven decision-making is being used to shut out useful contributions.

Why now: Frustration over new moderation rules restricting solo developers and AI-generated content in open source communities.
