Birders share lopsided bird showdowns under FightingFeathers theme
Original: @atlanticbirding.bsky.social 's #BirdOfTheDay Alt. theme is: #FightingFeathers Here's the most uneven fight I've witness
A birding contributor has shared a photo of an unlikely clash between two magpie-larks and a little friarbird and a bush stone-curlew, with the curlew prevailing without leaving the ground. The image was submitted to a daily bird-themed challenge running an alternative theme of FightingFeathers, which invites people to post photos of birds squabbling or facing off.
Why now: The theme encourages bird photographers to share dramatic or amusing photos of birds in conflict.
