An artist shared an Inktober drawing for the day 24 prompt, "bake," done in the style of the background art from classic Looney Tunes cartoons. The piece shows a pie cooling on a windowsill, rendered in black and white, and the artist notes the vintage cartoon aesthetic was difficult to capture without color. The drawing has drawn small positive attention among fellow artists taking part in the month-long drawing challenge.
Why now: Inktober's daily prompts keep artists sharing themed work throughout October.
Evidence
- Inktober #24: Bake I love all the art they used to use in the backgrounds of old Looney Tunes cartoons. I tried to emulate that style a bit with this one. A bit hard to do in just black and white, but the typical pie cooling on the windowsill helps sell it, I think. 😊 # drawing… · martincrownover@mastodon.gamedev.place · 5
