Developer Cedric Bonhomme says he likes the new design of Newspipe, his open-source news aggregator, pointing users to the project's GitHub repository. Newspipe is a self-hosted RSS and Atom feed reader written in Python, aimed at people who prefer running their own software instead of relying on hosted services. The project remains a small indie effort within the self-hosting community.
Why now: The developer has unveiled a refreshed interface for his open-source self-hosted news reader, prompting discussion among the self-hosting and indie dev community.
