Staffer Left Alone After Dark With 450 Dead Animals At Casper Wildlife Museum
Original: Left Alone After Dark With 450 Dead Animals At Casper’s Werner Wildlife Museum
A report from Cowboy State Daily describes a lone worker at Casper's Werner Wildlife Museum in Wyoming being left alone after dark amid roughly 450 mounted and preserved animal specimens. The account has drawn attention to staffing and safety conditions at the small museum, which houses a large collection of taxidermy from Wyoming and beyond.
Why now: The unusual, slightly eerie details of a solo night shift surrounded by hundreds of taxidermied animals make the story a curiosity piece.
