Boost Media APS, an Italian non-profit, is putting out a call for new volunteers to join its open source projects. The organisation is looking for people with skills in software development, graphic design, copywriting, video editing and app testing. It also seeks volunteers to refurbish old computers for its solidarity project, giving discarded machines a second life. The appeal stresses that anyone who believes in open source and has one of these skills is welcome to get involved.
Why now: The non-profit has just published an open call for volunteers, circulating among people interested in open source and digital solidarity projects.
