Fear Fest screening brings Ghostbusters back to the big screen
Original: FEAR FEST! Ghostbusters (1984)
A Fear Fest event series is showing the 1984 classic Ghostbusters in theatres, giving audiences a chance to see Ivan Reitman's supernatural comedy on the big screen again. The revival fits a busy season for retro horror and Halloween-themed repertory screenings, and fans of the franchise are welcoming the opportunity to revisit the original film theatrically.
Why now: Halloween-season repertory screenings of classic films are drawing attention as venues program nostalgia-driven events.
